Burroughs expertise was required to eliminate the risk of flooding at a new housing estate. The development, by Heritage Homes Limited, had already been subjected to three major flood incidents.

Burroughs carried out a detailed catchment analysis to identify the source of the flooding problem and present possible solutions. A detailed model of the area was created using the industry standard MircoDrainage WinDes software package and various options were considered.
