The Eastham Bridge Replacement project has won the CIHT Gwreiddiau Cymru Wales Origins Award 2018 at the annual CIHT Cymru Wales awards ceremony. Client Worcestershire County Council along with partners Burroughs, Alun Griffiths and Jacobs recieved the award for the replacement of the grade II listed bridge.

In May 2016 Eastham Bridge which runs over the River Teme in Worcestershire collapsed resulting in it’s closure and a 10 mile detour. Burroughs’ civil and structural design engineers, worked closely with principal contractor Alun Griffiths and were able to successfully deliver a ‘Design and Build’ replacement bridge, in only 11 months.
